Sean Dawe in Canada has launched his beautiful Black Pearl and posted a launchings report and photo on the Qajaqusa forum. The building process is described in detail on his blog: here is the last post before launching. 

The blog is a very good read for everyone contemplating a Black Pearl project. A lot of instructive pics and some interesting ideas or new twist on old ones (Sean´s variation on the Maroske fittings was discussed here and on the Qajausa forum).
