First real spring day...

Of course it was paddling today. First time this year without gloves, in short pants and with no cap under the tuiliq hood; the gloves and the pants on purpose, the cap by mistake - I had forgotten to bring it. But it was warm enough in the water for rolling without it, in spite of hardly 6° C. Don´t know if I have finally gotten used to the cold, become numb or if the new tuiliq material (Chillcheater) is warmer than the old (bought a new one in the fall, since the old one had developed some leaks).
The sun from a blue sky brought some spring folly, and as a consequence a first short swim (without kayak) and a sun-and-coffee-break without clothes on the beach with the forest sheltering from the chilly northerly.
A bank of fog pulled in from the sea at at luinch time and I shortened the tour slighlty - hadn´t brought a compass or a chart. In the last photo the famous "Turning Torso" building in Malmö protrudes through the fog, behind the lazy bird watcher who from time to time studied what to me looked like a not very exciting bunch of Canadian Geese.
