From Ayr on the west coast of Scotland – a beautiful and well-built Frej!

"Hi Bjorn,

I finished your Frej design of this summer and have been delighted with the the kayak. It probably exceeds my expectations.

I had to raise the cockpit slightly to accommodate my geriatric knees and I extended it by 10cm, but apart from that it is as designed.

It has a skeg which works well with this boat. I managed to keep the weight down to about 16kgs. As I am in my 70ies this allows me to lift it on to the car rack on my own.

Again thanks for such wonderful kayak designs.
