This is how my new canoe turned out.

Started in mid may. Launching today. A bit later than planned, but it took more time than I anticipated. Looking forward to a nice canoeing summer 2009.

Thanks for support, advices and tips along the way.

I want to recommend a tool that helped me a lot. I tried a new kind of disc in the angle grinder - one with sand paper segment. One disc for 50 SEK handled all sanding on the canoe. It produced an incredible amount of dust (wear sufficient protection and clean often). The entire surface was done in a couple of hours. You are perhaps familiar with this? Send a pic nevertheless.
