Deck time

Cut the molds to the deck line and reattach them in the hull, fixed in position with hot glue or a couple of staples through the sheer strip. The rest is routine and quick work - a center strip (a visual check that it is a smooth and pleasing curve), followed by stripping from the sheer towards the center strip (best) or from the center strip and out (slightly faster).

The deck with its smaller area and straighter lines is quickly done. Now it begins to look like a kayak…
